Message	Just plug it back in and adjust the bracket so the switch is depressed further when the hood is down. Some times if you have a front strut tower bar or anything else touching the hood and causing it to be raised even a millimeter then the swithch will be "open" and make the alarm go off ocassionally. This happened to me after installing my strut bar as it contacted the hood.
